My Winter Must Haves
Winter in England can be bitterly cold so it's important to wrap up warm. But dressing for the winter doesn't mean you have to walk around looking like a yeti. You can still look cute whilst being practical. Here's how
First up pick a cute and cosy hat like this pink one that I can't get enough of. As you well know I love this colour but for those who prefer darker tones, it also comes in black. As it's so soft and fluffy I almost look forward to going outside just so I can put it on
Next up is this super warm puffer coat in, yet again, blush pink. Puffer coats are so on trend at the moment and I love the fact that I was able to find one in my favourite colour. Due to my height, I often struggle to find coats long enough to keep me warm. But this one is a great length and zips all the way up to keep me nice and toasty (of course the chai latte helps on this occasion as well)
This mauve choker sweater is also a key part of my winter wardrobe. It looks good whilst keeping me warm too. The colour is simply divine. I love it!
I love to team it up with jeans or a cute mini like this black velvet one. The sweater-mini combo is a winning look for me. I mean, just because it's cold outside that shouldn't mean we have to compromise on style and cover up those pins
But it is important to find a good pair of thick tights to keep your legs warm like these gorgeous striped ones
A good pair of boots is also a requirement. For me comfort is a must in Winter. These black ankle boots are super comfy and warm. They finish the sweater-mini combo look nicely. I often struggle to find nice boots that fit me because my giant feet. But these are super roomy and even have enough space for me to wear thick socks with them to keep my feet snug
These boots can also be worn with your favourite Christmas jumper and a pair of jeans like these
This Christmas jumper is one of my faves because of it's connection to Destiny's Child. You may not know this but from the age of 9 I spent most of my time in my room singing and writing songs until one day I plucked up the courage to showcase my singing abilities at my school talent show along with a couple of my friends
The song we chose was "Say My Name" because the "Writing's on the Wall" album was constantly on repeat (drove my sister mad with it)
I was obviously Beyonce in that performance. And we totally "sleighed" it (I look like I've just slayed a vampire in this shot - maybe I have *raised eyebrow*)
This Christmas jumper is also close to my heart as it pays homage to one of the best Christmas films of all times, Home Alone. It's almost become a Christmas tradition in our household that this be playing while we sit down to eat our Christmas dinner
I'm rather excited at the prospect of Christmas dinner in 8 days time and stuffing my face with, well vegan stuffing
This scarf is also ideal for this cold weather. It is so thick and fluffy, it practically doubles up as a blanket. I can't stop wearing it
Thanks for reading and I hope I inspired you to go and "slay" this Winter
Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
