Barcelona
So we just got back from Barcelona and I have to say, I am completely in love! This place is just breathtakingly beautiful. There is so much to see and do plus the people are so warm and welcoming
If you have never been, I urge you to go. Being a vegan, travelling can sometimes be a daunting prospect, because you never know if you are going to be able to find vegan options. But I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of places that cater to us. Not only in food, but I came across a few beauty salons, up-cycling clothes stores as well as vegan bakeries. I would say though, that I was a little shocked to find that near where we staying, in a local sandwich shop you can order a vegetable baguette and be served a baguette containing vegetables and tuna - not sure what part of tuna is a vegetable. But in central Barcelona there are plenty of vegan restaurants and non vegan restaurants that cater to our needs and taste-buds
We decided to wake up super early to see the Sunrise. As tired as we were, it was so worth it because it was damn beautiful
Simply breathtaking
I absolutely love the feeling of sinking my feet into the sand and the smell of the sea water
The feel of the water on my tootsies is everything!
It is safe to say that we are definitely going to be coming back
Thanks for reading and check back next week to see more of my Barcelona adventure
